Who we are

We are an interdisciplinary team, developing a major project, in an area of great importance: transforming the way fertilizers are produced.

Members

Goal

The Rede ReFert´s main objective is to develop innovative technologies in sustainable fertilizers for different production systems.

Proposal

We will propose technological approaches for the chemical transformation of alternative nutrient sources, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, and zinc.

Vision

These innovative technologies will allow the safe recovery and reintroduction of nutrients from different sources, from potentially polluting organic waste to mining tailings, using protocols tested on a large scale.
